Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Fraud-Lens Pro plans and billing.

What data sources are included in every investigation?

Every investigation includes WHOIS lookups, DNS record analysis, SSL certificate inspection, reverse IP resolution, website intelligence scraping, corporate registry searches across 7 states (DE, WY, NV, FL, TX, CA, NY), deep Sunbiz Florida scraping, and AI-powered risk analysis. All data sources are included in every plan -- there are no tiered feature gates on investigation depth.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. All monthly plans are cancel-anytime with no long-term contracts. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. Unused investigations do not roll over between billing cycles.

How accurate is the AI risk scoring?

Our AI risk scoring uses GPT-4o-mini to analyze the full investigation dataset. It identifies patterns consistent with shell companies, anomalous registration data, address mismatches, and domain age concerns. The AI provides a 0-100 risk score along with a detailed narrative explaining its reasoning. We always encourage users to review the underlying data alongside the AI analysis -- the score is a starting point for investigation, not a final verdict.

Do you offer refunds for investigations that return no results?

If an investigation fails to return any data due to a system error on our end, we will credit the investigation back to your account. However, investigations that return limited results (for example, a domain with privacy-protected WHOIS records) are still considered completed investigations, as the absence of data is itself a data point in fraud analysis.
